On June 3, 2009, at the Normandy American Cemetery on Omaha Beach, Victor and Charlene Hughes of Jacksonville, Fla., pause to reflect at the grave of a fallen Soldier from their home state of Tenn. Hughes's father fought in the United States Army at the Battle of the Bulge in the winter of 1944. This year marks the 65th Anniversary of the Normandy allied invasion of World War II.
