A 1st Marine Special Operations Battalion critical skills operator stands watch over a detained individual during a night raid on a simulated target Feb. 18, 2015, in Key West, Fla. The team conducting the raid inserted via closed circuit diving and advanced from the ocean to the objective. The team spent a week in Key West practicing various maritime operations skill sets, further solidifying the development of their techniques, tactics and procedures, and their standard operating procedures.
