Marines in the Combat Logistics Regiment 17, 1st Marine Logistics Group's color detail receive instructions on proper procedures from Staff Sgt. Robert D. Fraser, 28, from Youngstown, Ohio, the communications chief with Communications Detachment, Combat Logistics Battalion 15, CLR-17, at Camp Pendleton, Calif., June 25. Many hours of practice are put into ceremonies to ensure they go flawlessly. Approximately 200 personnel are on the parade deck up to five days prior to familiarize themselves with the procedures that'll take place during the ceremonies.
