150327-N-RU971-029 WATERS EAST OF THE KOREAN PENINSULA (March 27, 2015) - Seaman Kayla Hunt, from Smyrna, Tenn., mans the bridge helm of the forward-deployed amphibious assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6). U.S. Sailors and Marines from the Bonhomme Richard Amphibious Ready Group (ARG) and the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) are participating in the Korean Marine Exchange Program (KMEP) in the Republic of Korea (ROK) with the ROK Marine Corp and Navy. The Bonhomme Richard ARG is comprised of the amphibious assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6), the amphibious transport dock ship USS Green Bay (LPD 20), the Whidbey-island class amphibious dock landing ship USS Ashland (LSD 48) and the embarked 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU).
