150328-N-RU971-138 WATERS TO THE EAST OF THE KOREAN PENINSULA (March 28, 2015) – 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) Marines organize their gear in the hangar bay aboard the forward-deployed amphibious assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6) in preparation to disembark for field training. Bonhomme Richard is the lead ship of the Bonhomme Richard Amphibious Ready Group (ARG) and, along with the embarked 31st MEU, is currently underway in the 7th Fleet Area of Operations.
