150323-N-ZF498-039 PORTSMOUTH, England (March 23, 2015) –Admiral Sir George Zambellas, the Royal Navy’s First Sea Lord, walks with Rear Adm. Andrew Lewis, commander, Carrier Strike Group 12 during a reception held in the hangar bay of the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71). Theodore Roosevelt hosted the Zambellas, and other high ranking officials of the Royal Navy during a port visit to Portsmouth, England. Theodore Roosevelt deployed from Norfolk and will execute a homeport shift to San Diego at the conclusion of deployment. Theodore Roosevelt is conducting naval operations in the U.S. 6th Fleet area of operations in support of U.S. national security interests in Europe.
