Petty Officer 2nd Class Samantha Sanchez, a corpsman with Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron (MALS) 11, stands with Maj. Gen. Michael Rocco, commanding general of 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, after recently receiving the Junior Enlisted Women of the Year award aboard Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, Calif., March 31. She was one of two 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing Sailors to receive the award this year.
