On June 30, U.S. Army Soldiers from B Company 4th Battalion, 6th Infantry Regiment , attached to 2nd Squadron 13th Cavalry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division stand guard for the last time at Combat Out Post MAK commonly known is the Sugar Shack. They move out of Al Majar Al Kibir in Maysan province, Iraq in compliance with the June 30 security agreement date. Later Iraqi security forces and U.S. forces celebrate the U.S. pullout of Maysan cities.
