A Marine with 3rd Battalion, 8th Marine Regiment, scans the buildings across the field looking for any enemy threat during an assault on a village as a part of their Marine Corps Combat Readiness Evaluation aboard Fort Pickett, VA, March 26, 2015. During the assault, gas was suspected to be used in the village. The Marines were equipped with gas masks, allowing them continue the assault without being affected by the gas.
