Airman Ladiadrius Batton, aviation maintenance administration man, Master Chief Leonard Gage, aviation maintenance administration man, Chief Michael Armetta, aviation electronics technician, and Petty Officer 2nd Class Marquette Jones, aviation support equipment technician, participate in a tractor pull onboard aircraft carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower during a steel beach picnic to celebrate Independence Day. The Eisenhower Carrier Strike Group is deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations as part of a regularly scheduled deployment in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom as well as Maritime Security Operation. Operations in the U.S. 5th Fleet are focused on reassuring regional partners of the United States' commitment to security, which promotes stability and global prosperity.
