Airmen from Travis Air Force Base were on a mission to set several world records in the C-5M Super Galaxy April 3, 2015. Two C-5Ms and a combined crew of Airmen from the 349th and 60th Air Mobility Wing were put the through the paces preparing the aircraft for a mission that included altitude in horizontal flight, time-to-climb with payload, and greatest payload to 9,000 meters among several other records.
