U.S. Army Sgt. Jodie Lemons, Walter Reed Warrior Transition Battalion, Bethesda, Md., receives the Prone Supported Shooting Competition silver medal from the USO spokesperson Robert Medrano at the 2015 Army Trials at Fort Bliss, Texas. Lemons also won the bronze medal in the Archery Competition the next day. Approximately 80 wounded, ill or injured Soldiers and veterans are at Fort Bliss to train and compete in a series of athletic events including archery, cycling, shooting, sitting volleyball, swimming, track and field and wheelchair basketball. Army Trials, March 29 - April 2, are conducted by the Army Transition Command and hosted by Fort Bliss.
