(April 6, 2015) Sailors assigned to Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Unit (EODMU) 11 honor their fallen EOD warriors, Chief Explosive Ordnance Disposal Gregory Billiter, Explosive Ordnance Disposal 1st Class Joseph McSween and Explosive Ordnance Disposal 2nd Class Curtis Hall during a remembrance ceremony held at Naval Outlying Landing Field Imperial Beach. Billiter, McSween and Hall were killed in action April 6, 2007, in Hawijah, Iraq. EODMU-11 provides operational EOD capability for location and identification, rendering safe, recovery, field evaluation, and disposal of all explosive ordnance including chemical and nuclear weapons across the globe.
