U.S. Marine Corps Forces, Pacific drummer, Sgt. Matthew Cole, leads the party band during a performance before more than 100 people at the Broadbeach Mall on the Gold Coast here July 10. The MarForPac band is touring Australia as thousands of Australian and U.S. service members prepare for Exercise Talisman Saber 2009. TS09 is a biennial combined training activity, designed to train Australian and U.S. forces in planning and conducting combined task force operations, which will help improve Australian Defence Force/U.S. combat readiness and inter-operability.
