SAN DIEGO (May 11, 2015) Ron Reyes, Jr. ties a yellow ribbon to the railing aboard the USS Midway Museum in remembrance of his father, Marine Corps Pfc. Ron Reyes, Sr., who was killed in 1968 amid the Tet Offensive during the Vietnam War. "It's about what was sacrificed, what was given," said Reyes. "Beyond what's in the textbooks, we need to keep the individual stories alive." Reyes, Jr. attended the event as a member of Sons and Daughters In Touch, an organization that locates, unites and supports children of service members missing or killed in action during the Vietnam War.
