Soldiers fire at paper targets from different positions as part of a competition for both Non-Commissioned Officer and Soldier of the Quarter July 10 on Forward Operating Base Warrior, Kirkuk, Iraq. Soldiers were also expected to be able to treat and evacuate a casualty, use communications equipment, show their knowledge of automatic weapons, and answer questions in front of a board of senior non-commissioned officers.
