The signal flags spell out “ready to care,” representing the command’s motto of “Readying Warriors and Caring for Heroes.” Lovell FHCC is the first and only federal health care center in the nation, integrating the Department of Defense and Department of Veterans Affairs health care services in the Great Lakes, Ill., area.
