U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Brian Rickert secures his eye protection before having his gear inspected by a French Foreign legionnaire at a French Base in Djibouti. Rickert, a pararescueman from the 82nd Expeditionary Rescue Squadron, jumped with other Guardian Angels from the 82nd, from a French C-160 Transall, using French parachutes, twice the same day. The Guardian Angels from the 82nd trained with Legionnaires to promote interoperability between the two militaries.
