Steve Creaghe, nephew of 1st Lt. John S. Creaghe, speaks during memorialization ceremony at the 1st Lt. John S. Creaghe Training Support Center in Fort Drum, N.Y. Creaghe served in the 10th Mountain Division during WWII and was awarded the Distinguished Service Cross, the Silver Star, the Bronze Star, and the Purple Heart for his actions during the battle on Mt.
