A TG-16A sailplane is towed to release altitude at the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colo. April 8, 2015. The 94th Flying Training Squadron is responsible to train over 700 cadets annually and conducts over 17,000 training and competition glider sorties annually. It conducts airmanship training at the United States Air Force's busiest day, VFR only airfield and provides an exceptional opportunity for cadet participation in an Air Force operational environment.
