Spc. Joshua Macy and Pvt. Dakota Allen, both of Company A, 44th Expeditionary Signal Battalion, adjust settings on a CPN April 2, 2015, at Clay Kaserne in Wiesbaden, Germany. Macy and Allen were part of a CPN team that deployed on short notice more than 325 kilometers (202 miles) from Garfenwoehr to Wiesbaden, set up and provided network services to an aviation unit on post. “The intent of this mission is to test the readiness of our unit. We’re capable of doing our mission in a short amount of time,” said Sgt. Antonio Vidal, CPN team chief, Company A, 44th Expeditionary Signal Battalion. The team successfully provided services, enduring high winds and rain from Storm Niklas, one of the strongest storms to hit Germany in many years. (Photo by William B.
