A castle representing the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is displayed in front of restored housing units to honor the engineer Soldiers who completed the restoration project. The units will be used to house the influx of Soldiers Camp Arifjan has seen since the drawdown in Afghanistan and the beginning of Operation Inherent Resolve in Iraq and Syria. The new living space was unofficially titled, “Essayons Estates,” after the engineer motto of ‘Essayons,’ or we will try. (U.S. Army photo by Spc. Eleeziaa Howard, 234th Engineer Company, USARCENT)
