Gerhard Wagner, 86th Airlift Wing safety office falconer, assists a sixth-grade student from Ramstein Middle School with putting on a leather glove to hold and feed a peregrine falcon as a part of the Falconer Show presented for Earth Day, April 16, 2015, at Ramstein Air Base, Germany. The show demonstrated to the students how the falcons dive to catch their prey and explained how they are used in this way to prevent other birds from interfering with planes that are taking off or landing on the flightline.
