South Carolina Air National Guard F-16 Fighting Falcons assigned to the 169th Fighter Wing from McEntire Joint National Guard Base, flew against U.S. Navy F-18 Hornets from the Strike Fighter Squadron 37 at Naval Air Station Oceana, Va., for dissimilar air combat training. The joint operation allows pilots valuable training and experience to enhance future flying operations. The KC-135s provided aerial refueling during the training.
