Hollywood, one of the horses at Stepp Stables, wears a protective mask to keep flies and other bugs out of his eyes. The summer months bring many irritants to the horses, like flies. Along with the protective mask, staff and volunteers clean and spray the horses regularly to keep them cool during the summer heat.
