Sergeant Major of the Army Kenneth Preston arrives to visit with noncommissioned officers and leaders at the National Training Center in Fort Irwin, Calif., July 23, during Operation Sand Castle 2009. The operation consists of more than 1,800 Army Reserve Soldiers assigned to the 411th Engineer Brigade, of the 412th Theater Engineer Command (TEC). Over 40 combat engineer companies from all over the country are here to participate in construction projects and tactical training at NTC.
