The 1st Battalion 24th Marines, Lansing, Mich., work to secure infrastructures at the newly constructed Combined Arms Collective Training Facility in Camp Grayling, Mich., April 25, 2015. The idea of the training exercise is to prepare the troops for a situation where insurgents storm a U.S. city, capture the mayor and try to take over the city. The training is part of Arctic Eagle. Arctic Eagle is a joint service and international exercise, based on the U.S. and Denmark National Strategies for the Arctic, addressing the defense of critical infrastructure within the Arctic Circle.
