Louis Cariello, Commander, Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Atlantic, checks the progress of a construction project at Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti, to check the progress of several construction projects. Camp Lemonnier is the only enduring U.S. military base on the African continent. Over the course of the next year, a few of the projects that will be completed include a new joint headquarters, enlisted bachelor quarters and expansion of the galley.
