OKINAWA, Japan (April 24, 2015) Builder 3rd Class Abdoul Banse, a Seabee assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 5, picks out members of his squad to carry a simulated injured Seabee through a deep trench at Jungle Warfare Training Center in Okinawa. More than 60 Seabees from NMCB 5 attended the week long course taught by Marine instructors. The course is designed to prepare Marines and joint forces for the rigors of combat in a dense jungle environment. NMCB 5 is currently deployed to Japan and several countries in the Pacific area of operations conducting construction operations and humanitarian assistance projects.
