An F/A 18E Super Hornet attached to the "Checkerboards" of Marine Strike Fighter Squadron 312, performs a touch and go for the crowd of Sailors, family and friends. The aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman is on a Friend's and Family Day Cruise. Approximately 3,700 friends and family of Truman Sailors joined the crew for a 14-hour underway to see a day in the life aboard an aircraft carrier.
