Polish army Col. Marek Gmurski, the Drawsko Pomorskie Training Area commander, and U.S. Army Maj. John Womack, the commander of the 2nd Battalion, 7th Infantry Regiment, 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division, plant a tree April 27, 2015 at Camp Konotop, Poland. Originating as a community outreach event created by Gmurski, the project served to strengthen relationships and instill a sense of environmental awareness amongst the volunteers.
