Sergeant Major Mario P. Fields speaks to the Marines with 1st Battalion, 4th Marine Regiment, Marine Rotational Force – Darwin, May 4 at Robertson Barracks, Palmerston, Northern Territory, Australia. Fields gave a speech to the Marines of MRF-D to motivate them about upcoming exercises and events that MRF-D Marines will participate in during their deployment to Australia. The rotational deployment of U.S. Marines affords an unprecedented combined training opportunity with our Australian allies and improves interoperability between our forces. The Marine Corps is fully committed to their alliance with Australia and promoting common security interests throughout the Pacific.
