Army Reserve Soldier, Spc. Franklin Cardenas, a heavy equipment operator assigned to the 277th Engineer Company, 46th Engineer Battalion, 225th Engineer Brigade, exits the D-9 bulldozer after clearing enormous concrete slabs from beneath the earth in preparation to build a stronger and safer bridge in northeast Baghdad, July 30. "It's a feeling of pride at the end of a project," said Cardenas, a native of Luling, Texas. "It's a good feeling, no, it's a great feeling to know what we've accomplished, especially something of this magnitude."
