The North Dakota National Guard hosted its first major engagement with its newest State Partnership Program (SPP) partners, the Republic of Benin and Togolese Republic from May 2-8, 2015. Through the SPP, a National Guard Bureau program, about 20 civilian and military dignitaries from Togo, Benin and the U.S. State Department participated in various activities in Bismarck, N.D. The North Dakota National Guard paired with Ghana in 2004 and with Benin and Togo in February 2014. The senior military participants were (left to right) Brig. Gen.
