Nepalese army soldier Capt. Binod Rizal observes damage in the Sinduli District, Nepal, while aboard a UH-1Y Venom, May 10, caused by a 7.8 magnitude earthquake that struck the country. Rizal was part of a joint mission delivering aid and relief supplies to remote areas of the Dolakha and Sinduli Districts during OPERATION SAHAYOGI HAAT. The Nepalese Government requested the U.S. Government’s assistance after earthquake struck the country, April 25. The U.S. government ordered JTF 505 to provide unique capabilities to assist Nepal.
