First Sgt. James Yanascek, the senior enlisted leader for the 30th Armored Brigade Combat Team Headquarters Company, fires in M9 pistol during a weapons qualification event May 12, 2015, at McGregor Range, N.M. Yanascek is a North Carolina National Guard Soldier, and a 27-year veteran of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department in his civilian career.
