An Iraqi dog waits for a command from his handler during a training exercise with U.S. Soldiers from the Canine Section of the 25th Infantry Division at Forward Operating Base Marez, in Mosul, Iraq, Aug. 8. The dogs, provided by the U.S., are the most effective means of detecting explosives and will help Iraqi forces combat the threats of car bombs and suicide attacks.
