ARABIAN GULF (May 14, 2015) - Operations Specialist 2nd Class Jonathan Leydic, from Sharpsville, Va., monitors surface and air tracks from aboard the guided-missile destroyer USS Farragut (DDG 99) during an underway replenishment with the Military Sealift Command fast combat support ship USNS Arctic (T-AOE 8). Farragut is deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations as part of Theodore Roosevelt Carrier Strike Group supporting Operation Inherent Resolve, strike operations in Iraq and Syria as directed, maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the region.
