Sgt. Maj. of the Army Kenneth Preston enters the Warhorse Brigade headquarters followed by Command Sgt. Maj. Frederick Thompson, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, and Command Sgt. Maj. Lawrence Wilson, Multi-National Forces - Iraq, during a visit to Contingency Operating Base Basra, Iraq, Aug. 4. The 2nd BCT is close to finishing its yearlong deployment and is preparing for its imminent redeployment to Fort Carson, Colo. Preston also visited with Warhorse Soldiers at Camp Wessam earlier in the day.
