CHICAGO (April 17, 2015) -- Newly commissioned Loyola University Chicago naval officers and their mothers are recognized after being commissioned and receiving Blue Star Flags from Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps (NROTC) Chicago Consortium Commanding Officer, U.S. Navy Capt. Brian D. Koehr, right. The NROTC Chicago Consortium consists of midshipmen from Northwestern University, Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT), University of Illinois Chicago and Loyola University Chicago.
