On May 19 Fort Polk celebrated the Asian American and Pacific Islander month at the Bayou Theater. The festivities included a taekwondo demonstration, and traditional dances representing many of the Pacific island nations. At the conclusion of the ceremony guests were treated to a free lunch of traditional foods.
