(May 18, 2015) – Midshipmen from the Naval Academy’s Midshipman Action Group (MAG) hand bags of shoes to volunteers from Planet Aid after collecting shoes from the plebe class during the Class of 2018 Herndon climb, May 18. Each year MAG collects running shoes from the plebes before the Herndon monument climb to donate to Planet Aid, a nonprofit organization that collects and recycles used clothes and shoes and supports international development projects.
