A U.S. Air Force C17 Globemaster III takes off from the Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, Nepal, May 19. The plane is carrying a UH-1Y Huey helicopter, cargo and U.S. Marines back to Okinawa, Japan, as Operation Sahayogi Haat draws to an end. The U.S. military came together as Joint Task Force 505 at the request of the government of Nepal and the U.S. Agency for International Development in response to a 7.8 magnitude earthquake April 25.
