    NORTHERN PACIFIC OCEAN – Petty Officer 2nd Class William Young, right, steadies a large inflatable target nicknamed the "killer tomato" while Chief Petty Officer Jeffrey Hamilton, left, secures it to a pad-eye on the flight deck of the U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Bertholf, Aug. 10. The target was deployed from the ship for crewmembers to fire at during a gunnery exercise in the Northern Pacific Ocean. Crewmembers fired both the M-240 light and .50 caliber machine guns at the target as part of the ship's recurring training and qualification process.
