Paratroopers assigned to the 82nd Airborne Division take shots from 500 meters away using iron sights on their M4 rifles during the second annual All American Small Arms Championship at Fort Bragg, N.C., May 12, 2015. The competition, which allowed paratroopers to earn match points and badges for recognition of excellence, was held leading up to All American Week. Paratroopers with 1st Squadron, 73rd Cavalry Regiment were named the top team in pistol, rifle, combined arms and overall. Spc. Jonathan Wannemacher, with 2nd Battalion, 501st Parachute Infantry Regiment, won the individual pistol title; Sgt. Ross Harris, with 2nd Bn., 501st PIR, earned the individual combined arms title; and Sgt. 1st Class Justin Hicks, with 1st Sqdrn., 73rd Cav. Regt., earned top honors in rifle and overall. The Paratroopers will be recognized May 21. All American Week is an opportunity for 82nd Abn. Div. paratroopers, past and present, and their families to come together and enjoy the camaraderie and celebrate being members of the All American Division.
