150525-N-BK290-036 JOINT BASE PEARL HARBOR-HICKAM, Hawaii (May 25, 2015) – A U.S. and an Australian sailor aboard the Military Sealift Command hospital ship USNS Mercy (T-AH 19) render honors as they pass the USS Arizona Memorial during Pacific Partnership 2015. Now in its 10th iteration, Pacific Partnership is the largest annual multilateral humanitarian assistance and disaster relief preparedness mission conducted in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region. In addition to training for crisis conditions, Pacific Partnership has provided medical care to approximately 270,000 patients and veterinary services to more than 38,000 animals. Additionally, Pacific Partnership has provided critical infrastructure development to host nations through the completion of more than 180 engineering projects.
