Lance Cpl. Steven Lushko assigned to Romeo Battery of Battalion Landing Team 1/4 of the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit cleans a .50-caliber machine gun while in Kuwait, where BLT 1/4 is conducting training operations. The 11th MEU is assigned to Expeditionary Strike Group THREE aboard USS Peleliu. Peleliu and ESG 3 are deployed in support of the global war on terrorism and maritime security operations.
