Troopers from the 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment's Mechanized Infantry Battalion pose for a group photo at the National Training Center on Fort Irwin, Calif. The MIBN is designed to replicate the enemy of tomorrow which will employ conventional mechanized infantry assets as well as insurgency operations. The MIBN has recently passed validation and will be set to provide force-on-force training against rotational training units in the near future.
