A Korengal Outpost based U.S. Army Soldier with Company B, 2nd Battalion, 12th Infantry Regiment, 4th Infantry Division, calibrates a 120mm mortar tube before firing mortar rounds at insurgent fighting positions in Kunar province, Afghanistan, Aug. 15. The Co. B mortar team is one of the most active in Afghanistan. Since arriving in June, the mortar-men have fired more than 1,100 rounds.
