Maj. Gen. R. Martin Umbarger, the Adjutant General, Indiana National Guard, congratulates Spc. Genesis Liwanag on becoming a U.S. citizen. Liwanag, originally from the Philippines, was granted citizenship on July 4 during a ceremony held in Baghdad. He is a mechanic for the 138th Quartermaster Support Company, 751st Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, 10th Sustainment Brigade.
